Hi, gang! :)

I'm very tired and somewhat wired, but wanted to touch base before I try for a bit a of rest.

We got back home this evening around 6pm.

The trip was great, the staff members were great, the beaches were great, the onboard entertainment was great and the shopping was expensive...

I learned how to make towel animals/creatures....a dog, cat and elephant. :)

I met a beach security officer in Jamaica (who lives in Jamaica), named Paul, who seemed to be somewhat interested in me, but I'm sure he's like that with all the girls on the beach. He did ask for my phone number and I gave it to him. We'll see if he calls.

Our head waiter, Mario, was adorable...far too cute. He and the others performed a dance for the diners, and during one part, one of the cute guys (can't recall his name) was beside our table and danced around one of the columns as if he were pole dancing, but he wasn't out of hand with it. It was sooooo funny!

Rudy and Dwali worked in housekeeping and were also adorable. We'd talk for far too long. I'd see them in the hallway and I'd speak, and they'd ask how things were going, and the long conversation would start. I really enjoyed them, though. :D

The cruise director was hilarious! His name is Gary and he's also adorable and cute. We had some innocent flirting going on, and his fiancee (one of the showgirls) was sitting beside me on the ferry at one point while he acted silly with me. She was totally cool with it. They said they both do what makes people happy, but do know their limits. :)

I think I came across one staff member who had english as their native language, and though I had a hard time of understanding some of the staff members, I LOVED their accents and learning of what country they were from. Very cool!

I'm going take a break, now. I'll be back with more details a bit later, plus I may take a few minutes to reply to some of the posts, if I don't fall asleep before I get the chance.

Catch you later!

Thanks, naebells. :)

Yes, I did enjoy it, and I agree about the innocent flirting.
With his fiancee being a showgirl, I guess he has to try and keep up. You know you gets lots of attention.

Thanks a lot.

I'm hoping to take another next year, but my money may say "No, you need to keep your **** at home this year!"

I think after they finish this tour, they're off to Belize and one other place. I'd like to visit Belize. :)

The ship were on, The Conquest, will be transferred to Miami very soon, so I don't know which Carnival ship will take its place in New Orleans.

One of the crew members told me that they have a 14 day European cruise to Rome and one or two other cities. Would LOVE to visit Italy and Greece.

I'm glad to hear from you!

I'm also glad to read that you had a wonderful and safe trip. Awesome!

So, if Paul calls you and sweeps you off your feet and you move to Jamaica, don't forget about us, okay? ;)

Thank you, friend! I'm glad to hear from you, too. :D

I'm so glad that we all enjoyed ourselves. :)
When I get a chance, I'll give you more details by emai.

I just wish I could get rid of the sand in my naval. Wow! :o
Showering 2-3 times a day on the ship as it was freakin' hot out, (especially after time outside by the pool or at the beach), plus a shower at home last night and this morning, and I found two grains of sand this morning. It's painful, too and my naval is very red and irritated. I've been using Neosporin on it. I need a freakin' high pressure washer.

Any tips on how to get rid of it? It's starting to worry me. :|

I'm also trying to learn to walk on land/in the house, again. LOL! I got my sea legs very easily, but this opposite deal is hard. Sheesh. I actually started to feel a bit sick early....minor dizziness, mild upset stomach and walking like I had a bit too much to drink, and when I drank alcohol on the ship, I did fine. Not a drop of it since I've been home.

If anything major works with Paul, I won't forget you. If I end up moving to Jamaica, you can visit and stay with us. Save the hotel money for something fun.

You're welcome! I'll be looking forward to that email!

Sadly, I haven't been to the beach for quite sometime so I'm not of much help with the sand issue. Since you've already tried Neosporin, I would suggest baby powder or baby oil? I don't know if it would work, but it would be something that I would try.

Haha, well, thanks! I'll remember that!

I used the Neosporin to try and keep from getting an infection from the scratches/irritation. I may have gotten rid of the last grain of sand this morning. I hope so!

I'll try some baby powder later today, and I may buy some oil while shopping tomorrow.
Thanks. :)

Yes, do keep that in mind. Even if I never hear from Paul, when I win the lotto, I'll build a vacation house there. You'll still have a place to stay.

You're welcome! I hope it works.

Whew, that's good. I didn't know if I should go track down Paul and make him call you or not. But wait, when you win the lotto you'll by the rights to JAG and finally give us a H&M wedding and give Harm and Mac the happily ever after they deserve with little Marines & pilots that take after their mommy and daddy in the picture, right?!

 You're so silly!

Even if I win the lotto, the price for the house I want may be a bit steep, so you still may need to track down Paul. Get your detective gear out!

Of course I'll buy the rights to JAG. I have to get those little Marines and pilots to H&M ASAP. We've all waited far, far too long!
You'll still be working with me, right?

I'll get all my detective stuff ready to go.

Of course I'll be working with you. I can be your legal adviser in case you have H&M kicking **** in the courtroom. My emphasis area isn't military law, but I would be willing to learn!

Cooool. 8-) I'm sure you can count on McCall and/or Hunter, if needed. :)

I think having a bit of courtroom drama would be a good thing, so whatever you can offer would be of help. I'm sure that between lawyer friends of yours and D's, you'd come up with something on military law. :)

Detective, legal advisor, co-writer....lots of work for you.

Of course I'll call Hunter and McCall! I'm sure I can use the company during the plane ride/boat ride!

I'm sure we'd be able to come up with some accurate courtroom drama for you!

Ah, yes, I wear many hats!

Sounds good to me. I know they'll be willing to help. :D

Yes, I think we have the "many hats" thing in common, too.
