Oh, yes, LM. I hope you and yours are alright. The news footage is just devastating. I wanted to send you an email a few days ago, but I haven't had I chance.

Sending prayers!

A tornado was very close to my home, but everything is okay in my hometown, thank you. I appreciate that you are concerned.

We've had trouble with communication towers, though. Some are damaged...some are gone. We were without TV, phones and internet for a little while. I'm online for the first time in five days.

So many people just a few miles from me are not doing so well, though. Some of the places I've been to outside of my city are gone. It's so strange.

I tried to send a PM reply that TTeng53 sent from you all, but I'm having trouble with that and posting messages. I'm hoping this one will post.

I posted a bit about the tornadoes under "Off Topic" on the forum.

The past two weeks have been rough. Just a week before the storms, one of my cousins was murdered....was in an abusive relationship, and now she's gone at the age of 19...leaving a two year old son behind. So sad.

I'm just thankful to God that we're doing much better than so many.

Thanks so much for your care and prayers.
:)

We're making it. My nerves have been a bit on edge.
It's scary to know that I could have lost two more cousins, plus one that's due to be born in a few weeks. We just buried one, and the thought of losing more is as I said, scary.

I think I posted in "Off Topic" about my cousin and her daughter in taking shelter in a closet during the storm.

Yes, an email would be nice when you can. I have updates on my cousin that was killed. I found out more about what he did to her.
Thanks for the prayers.
